A Night of 60's Classic Rock N Roll
Coming to Cedar Rapids, Iowa!

Cedar Rapids, IA -- September 14, 2005 --The Turtles, one of the most remembered 1960's pop music acts, will be performing at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cedar Rapids on Wednesday, September 14th. Opening for The Turtles that evening is Eastern Iowa's own 60's Classic Rock N Roll Band The Do's & Don'ts.

The Turtles had many top 20 hits in the 1960's including Happy Together, She's My Girl, Ain't Me Babe and may more. Original members Mark Volman & Howard Kaylan (AKA Flo & Eddie) reformed The Turtles in 1985. They will be joined by their East Coast Band consisting of Joel Hoekstra, Guitar & Vocals; Joe Stefko, Drums; Don Kisselbach, Bass & Vocals; and Benjy King, Keyboards, Hammond-B3 Organ, & Vocals.

The Do's & Don'ts will open the show that evening at 7:00p.m. Original members Roger Booth, and Dick & Zelda Sherman are joined by Frank Glaser and Rick Sherman. The Turtles take the stage at 8:00p.m.
